Be Concrete in What You Stand For Please join our Concrete Hero team! Concrete Hero is the ultimate urban obstacle course, and proceeds benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). The event will take over the streets of Downtown LA on July 15. Together we'll leap over parked cars in Carmageddon, scale the "Hollywood Sign", swing over tar pits, and take part in many more exciting obstacles! If you are not able to join our team, please consider making a donation to someone on Team APLA! Team APLA is comprised of staff, volunteers, and supporters of APLA. We've decided to take on this challenge because we are able to see firsthand how APLA's programs and services save lives and fight AIDS. Each day, we see the hope on our clients' faces after they pick up bags of groceries from APLA's Vance North Necessities of Life Program food pantries (often their only source of food!). We see smiles restored at our dental clinics, lives saved through our in-home care services, new infections prevented through our HIV prevention programs, and that's just the beginning. Your participation in Concrete Hero will make a huge difference in the lives of APLA's 10,000 clients, and every member of Team APLA knows that because we see it happen each day. Are you a Hero? Join or support our team today!
